Richardson Ocean Park is located at the end of Kalaniana‘ole Avenue, about 10 minutes from downtown Hilo.

A small parking lot is available near the entrance, but it fills up quickly. Additional parking can sometimes be found along the roadside. A short paved path leads from the parking area to the beach.
